IRFODEL

Based in Lomé/Togo, in West Africa, between Ghana, Benin and Burkina Faso, IRFODEL (Institute of Research and Training for Local Development), is a non-profit organisation of higher professional education, approved by the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, specialised in the training and support of actors in local and territorial development and decentralisation.

IRFODEL acts to :
- Train agents and actors of local development;
- Strengthen the capacities of agents and actors of development acting in the public or private sector;
- Accompany actors in the implementation of the decentralisation process and its articulation with local development.

Its action is aimed at: young girls and boys wishing to embark on a career as a development agent and professionals, organisations (associations and NGOs, faith-based organisations, producer groups, village development committees....) and local authorities.
